Trusts officer

Location     Home-based.
As the role is part of the National Office Team, the role will involve travelling to the National Office in Sheffield on a regular basis.
Details We are looking for someone who has:
  • significant experience of fundraising from trusts and charitable foundations 
  • excellent communication and presentation skills
  • the ability to generate creative ideas and work collaboratively
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Fundraising Team of Church Army and to grow the valuable support of our donors and income from trusts. As Trusts Officer you will work alongside one other Trusts Officer and together you will be responsible for all income from trusts and charitable foundations. You will need to be a strong team player who is self-motivated and able to appropriately connect with each trust, inspiring them to commit their funds to our work. We are looking to appoint someone who can think creatively, build effective relationships, and is committed to working with integrity. 
Salary £26-28,000 per annum, depending on experience
Hours 37.5 hours per week
Normal working hours are Monday to Friday with some evening and weekend work required on occasion.
Pension Church Army is an auto-enrolment employer. 
If you are eligible for contributions you will be enrolled into the scheme and minimum contributions will be made. 
Annual Leave 25 days plus statutory Bank Holidays
DBS Requirement The role is not eligible for a DBS check. However, all staff are expected to comply with our Safer Ministry Policy.
