We are looking for someone who is a superbly gifted leader and communicator to come and join us in ensuring that we are using our digital resources effectively in the way that we work, communicate, train, and share our stories of lives transformed. You will lead on our digital strategy, and ensure that there is a collaborative approach in the way that we use our digital resources, both new and existing. You will be able to inspire others in working digitally and what can be achieved through doing so. You will establish digital champions within the organisation and work with them to ensure that every location and every part of the organisation is digitally transformed. 
 
This is an exciting time in Church Army as we take forward a new strategy which includes digital at the same time as continuing to grow our frontline work; therefore this is a key strategic role in taking Church Army forward.

In this role you will report direct to the Deputy Chief Executive and you will lead on the digital strategy. Therefore you will be someone with an excellent knowledge and understanding of what can be achieved through digital resources as well as a strong leader able to deliver to a high standard and put ideas into action. This role suits someone who has excellent interpersonal skills, a can-do attitude, and who sees challenges as opportunities.

As part of the National Team in Sheffield, you will serve the wider Church Army across the UK and Ireland and will join a passionate, committed and energised team, all working towards our vision of seeing lives transformed.

We are looking for someone to start this post ideally by September 2019. 

 
Salary             This post will be paid at a senior level within Church Army. If you are interested in applying, please enquire with HR to know what this is.

Open-ended
Hours 37.5 hours per week

Normal working hours will be across Monday to Friday with some evening and weekend work required on occasion as well as travel accross the UK and Ireland. 
 
Pension Church Army is an auto enrolment employer. If you are eligible for pension contributions, you will be enrolled in
to a qualifying scheme and minimum pension contributions will be made by the employer. 
 
Annual Leave 25 days per year plus bank holidays (33 days in total) pro rata
 
DBS Requirement The role is not eligible for a DBS check, however all staff are expected to comply with our Safer Ministry Policy. 
 
Occupational Requirement There is no occupational requirement for this post.
